Mr. Manqoba Ngcobo brings a wealth of legal experience and leadership to NJP Attorneys, with an impressive academic background that includes an LLB and a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Relations from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). As an admitted attorney with the right of appearance in the High Court, Mr. Ngcobo consistently demonstrates excellence in the legal profession.
Before joining Ngcobo Jiyane and Partners Inc. Attorneys, Mr. Ngcobo held prominent roles at several esteemed law firms. He was a founding partner and Managing Director at Govender and Ngcobo Attorneys, where he played a crucial role in steering the firm towards success. Following that, he served as a Senior Associate at Ntshalintshali Attorneys, contributing to the firm’s growth while honing his expertise in a variety of legal fields, including labor law, land law, contract law, and public and administrative law.
Mr. Ngcobo’s expertise has been pivotal in representing numerous district and local municipalities, further cementing his reputation in both the public and private sectors. In addition, he serves as a Panelist for the Land Reform Management Facility, where he handles complex land rights matters under various land law legislations. His commitment to justice extends to his role as a Judicare Panelist under Legal Aid South Africa, where he advocates for clients’ rights in critical legal disputes.
